You can access hundreds of hours of DVD-quality programming such as cooking with America's Test Kitchen, travel with Rick Steves' Europe, learning about collectibles with Antiques Roadshow, classic and independent films and more. Best of all, it is brought to you by your local library for FREE!

This service is currently provided on a six month trial basis starting July 9, 2007.

Please scroll down beyond this list of libraires and read the brief instructions, then choose your library below, click on the appropriate link to start the download manager install. This is a one-time process that takes 1-2 minutes.

Instructions for specific libraries:

  • Click on your library link
  • Read the 3 easy instructions and click on the "Download" button
  • If you get a security warning from Internet Explorer saying "The Publisher Could Not Be Verified..." click on "run."
  • Once installation is complete, the MyLibraryDV product will appear. Choose from the available topics and then select your video. You will be asked to download this video. At this point you will be prompted to enter your library card barcode.
  • Please notice the small MyLibraryDV icon which is now on your desktop and also on the task bar at the very bottom of your monitor.

** Instructions for All Other Libraries:

  • REGISTER first. This step will give you your access code. Please keep it handy for further use.
  • Click on "All Other Libraries" link above.
  • Click on the "To Begin Downloading" button and read the installation instructions. These three easy steps are all you need to know to download this product. Click on the "Download" button at the end of the instructions. IF YOU GET A SECURITY WARNING FROM INTERNET EXPLORER SAYING "THE PUBLISHER COULD NOT BE VERIFIED" PLEASE CLICK ON "RUN."
  • Once the MyLibraryDv screen appears, choose from the available topics and then select a specific video.
  • Download the video. AT THIS POINT YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO SIGN IN. This is where you enter the number that was given to you when you registered.
  • Please notice the small MyLibraryDV icon which is now on your desktop and also on the task bar at the very bottom of your monitor.
