Digital Utah

Find digital resources of historical significance from a variety of digital collections in Utah. Some of the collections material is rare, hard-to-find and may be unavailable anywhere else. You can find digitized photographs, manuscripts texts, maps, audio & video recordings, transcripts, books, yearbooks, newspapers, theses and dissertations, and digital exhibits, as well as "born digital" items.

Each of these collections provide free, online access to digitized material. Copyright terms may exist.

Utah's Digital Collections
	Brigham Young University Digital Collections The Digital Collections from BYU's Harold B. Lee Library contains multi-media and images, theses and dissertations, scholarly periodicals, text collections, and newspapers.
	Mountain West Digital Library (MWDL) The Mountain West Digital Library is an aggregation of digital collections from universities, colleges, public libraries, museums, and historical societies in Utah, Nevada, and Idaho. Search by text, image, video, or audio. You can also browse by collection or MWDL partner.
	Southern Utah University Digital Collections Digital photographs, manuscripts, books, archives, and exhibits from Southern Utah University's Gerald R. Sherratt Library.
	University of Utah Digital Collections Find historical photographs, texts and manuscripts, exhibits, newspapers, and other historically significant resources. Browse by topic or collection or search by keyword.
	Utah Digital Newspapers This digital collection contains more than 50 newspapers from Utah. Titles range in date from the 1850s to the 1960s. The digitized newspapers in this website may be browsed by issue or searched by keywords, article titles, weddings, deaths, and births. Search all newspapers, select a specific newspaper or browse by county. This project was funded by the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) and digitized at the University of Utah.
	Utah Digital Repository The Utah Digital Repository provides access to materials produced by colleges and universities across the state of Utah. You can search for and download scholarly articles, theses and dissertations, undergraduate honors projects, working papers, reports, and more. The Utah Digital Repository is part of the Mountain West Digital Library, with funding provided by the Utah Academic Library Consortium and the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Utah State Library.
	Utah Government Publications Online Utah Government Publications Online provides easy and permanent access to Utah state publications. The website is designed for the general public, state agencies, and library visitors throughout the state for finding and accessing Utah government produced information.
	Utah History Research Center Digital Photograph Collection A photograph collection from the holdings of Utah State History made available for online research. Iinclude historical material from: City Engineers Photographic Collection, Civilian Conservation Corps, Classified Photograph Collection, Philo T. Farnsworth Television Tubes Collection, Shippler Commercial Photograph Collection, Governor Olympic Photograph Collection, Olympic Legacy Collection and more.
	Utah State Archives Digital Collections A small but growing collection from the holdings of the Utah State Archives made available for online research. Collections include historical material from: Board of Pardons, Division of Animal Industry, Division of Corporations and Commercial Code, Legislature. House, Lieutenant Governor, Vital Records and Statistics, and the Governors of Utah Digital Collection.
	Utah State University Digital Library The USU Digital Library digitizes materials owned by Utah State University Libraries and hosts them on the web. Find historical photographs, texts and manuscripts, audio recordings and transcripts, digital exhibits, newspapers, yearbooks, theses and dissertations, and hard-to-find government and scientific reports.
	Weber State University Stewart Library Digital Collections The Stewart Library Digital Collections site was created in 2007, through the generosity of the Stewart Education Foundation. Collections include the Dee Family Collection (marriage register, correspondence, and photographs), David Eccles Papers Collection, Ogden history collection, Utah Construction-Utah International Collection (annual reports and photographs), Weber State University History Collection (yearbooks and photographs), and World Wars and Weber County Collection (photographs and oral history).
	Western Waters Digital Library (WWDL) Launched in 2003, the Western Waters Digital Library (WWDL) contains government reports, classic water literature, legal transcripts, water project records, personal papers, photographic collections, and video materials about the Columbia, Colorado, Platte, and Rio Grande river basins. The WWDL is a collaborative regional project created by twelve university libraries in eight western states.
