Utah History Encyclopedia
In the Utah History Encyclopedia, over two hundred contributors write about the individuals, organizations, locations, institutions, and topics important to Utah history. The authors, who have donated their time to this project as a gift to Utahans for the state's centennial celebration, comprise nearly all scholars of Utah history working both within and outside the state. For this website, 250 historical photographs from the Utah State Historical Society were researched and displayed in order to enhance the resources available in the original book. Utah Collections Multimedia Encyclopedia
The Utah Collections Multimedia Encyclopedia is a continuing series of CD-ROM volumes as well as an ever-expanding world wide web site whose contributors include many institutions, organizations and agencies throughout Utah. Utah State Archives and Records Service
Manages records created by state and local governmental entities in Utah, and provides access to historical government records which are in their permanent collection. Historical records commonly used include death certificates, land records, legislative bills, mining claims, and incorporation records.

Civil War Maps contains items from the Library of Congress Geography and Map Division, the Library of Virginia, and the Virginia Historical Society. This presentation contains approximately 2,240 Civil War maps and charts and 76 atlases and sketchbooks that are held within the Geography and Map Division, 200 maps from the Library of Virginia, and 400 maps from the Virginia Historical Society.
