Administration on Aging Their Elders and Families section is designed to assist older persons and their caregivers quickly obtain information and resources on a variety of aging-related topics.

GovBenefits.gov This is a free, confidential tool that helps you find government benefits you may be eligible to receive. Their online screening tool is free, easy-to-use, and completely confidential. They do not require your name, phone number, Social Security number, or any other information that could be used to identify you. You answer a series of questions about yourself, and they returns a list of government benefit programs you may be eligible to receive along with information about how you can apply.


Medicare Rights Center A guide through the Medicare maze. MRC is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that helps ensure that older adults and people with disabilities get good affordable health care. They have a telephone hotline service to answer Medicare questions or help in securing coverage, an education department to teach people about Medicare benefits and rights. They also have helpful publications for sale.
